Heather Bridges, RN

Heather Bridges is a wonderful nurse who has devoted her career to Critical Services. She works in ED and ICU, where she both charges and precepts. She is great clinically, but it is what patients say about Heather that really stands out, "very very professional, "explained everything she was doing and why." Heather had multiple patient nominations, but the one that was truly touching said, "After a decade of health issues and dealing with many nurses with bad attitudes and horrible bedside manner, I finally came to Baptist Hospital here in Covington and met nurse Heather B. of the ER Department. She was the first nurse to ever truly make me feel like a human being that mattered and was genuinely cared about as a person. Nurse Heather is a remarkable nurse who not only deserves the world, but also the DAISY Award."
