My nurse came in & set the tone for the day. She said, “We’re going to have a good day”. She was positive and optimistic, it was contagious. She was very knowledgeable & helpful throughout the day. She helped me after I didn’t quite make it to the bedside commode & made a mess. She was very pleasant & understanding even with that messy situation. She did not make me feel embarrassed or ashamed. She was very compassionate, as many nurses are, but for example, she popped in just to let me know my room would be ready soon because she knew it would make me happy. Wonderful nurse.
