It is difficult to put into words the extent of Heather's care. It went beyond earthly standards, and on into the heavenly realms. Not only did this person show her competent caring skill by physically meeting my husband's needs, but she made sure his and our emotional and spiritual needs were met too. She daily came by just to see how we were doing when D was not her assigned patient. My husband had quite a journey with many bends in the road medically. Our July hospitalization was quite an adventure. He has received such excellent care from his teams. The entire nursing staff at BSW is amazing. The reason I am lifting this person specifically is that after my husband’s kidneys failed, he had to go on dialysis and his TEVAR procedure had to be postponed. We were so disheartened because his journey began over a year ago. Heather, on her day off, came to our room and sang to my husband “I’ll fly away”. What a spiritual uplift. Thank you! Although this acknowledgment to her was delayed, we are very grateful and we continue to be on our faith journey of healing. Many thanks to all!
