Heather has been part of our ED team for going on seven years now. One of the first qualities I noticed about Heather was her bright smile. She always greets everyone with this smile no matter what kind of day she is having. Your impact on this patient will be felt for the rest of his life. In his letter, he expressed how “You sat down and really showed you cared. No judgment or shame, just caring and so much support”. Our surroundings can make it quite challenging to make this connection but your kind and caring heart shined brightly that day, especially for him.
