Heather Dereere, RN

Heather was nominated by the Troy Security Staff who wrote that there was an unforeseen incident in EC. Heather went well above what was required and expected of her with the task at hand. Her actions, decision-making, and leadership skills played a very important part in the successful evacuation of all patients on the entire Orange Team. The patients were all moved to the Ambulance Bay without incident, and no injuries occurred. The Security Department would like to thank her for her leadership, compassion, and attention to detail for putting herself in harm’s way and making sure all patients were cared for and moved to safety.
