My spouse was transported to the Baptist Hospital Jacksonville Emergency Room for an unknown heart condition. When I arrived, I was permitted to enter the ER to be with my wife while the diagnosis was being made. Heather Doyle was the first nurse we encountered as she was assigned to my wife. From the minute introductions were made, I knew my wife was in excellent hands. Heather displayed amazing compassion and calmness during the entire ER experience and went above and beyond in helping us to understand the health situation and what would be taking place to further diagnose and resolve it. Heather communicated with compassion and empathy every step of the way. Her display of teamwork was extraordinary and one could tell her only interest at the moment was a solution for best outcomes and experiences. Not only did Heather provide outstanding care, but she was also instrumental in helping us understand the advantages and benefits of a pacemaker which was eventually installed. Heather was very instrumental in helping us make the decision to have this procedure performed as she was able to alleviate our fears and concerns in a very professional and caring manner. Heather undoubtedly loves her role with Baptist Hospital and the hospital is extremely fortunate to have her on the staff.
