Heather was nominated by a patient for being an exceptional person and caring RN. The patient felt she was passionate about her work, knowledgeable, and displayed the highest ethical nursing standards. Heather demonstrated the true meaning of patient advocate, taking her time with the patient and asking them important questions to help determine the best plan of care. The patient stated that they never felt rushed or that their requests did not matter.
