It is with my utmost respect and happiness that I write to you about the care I received under your direction. My life was spared by your care team and I thank you kindly. Overall, everyone who cared for me during my six to seven-day stay was exceptional! Everyone deserves praise. However, there was one nurse who really stood out to my family and me.

Heather in the ICU was exceptional! When I rang the call bell, she was there within seconds. She never once asked me what I needed to see if the PCS could help me; she immediately helped me herself. She helped me to the bathroom and was so endearing. It was a very embarrassing time, and she would comfort me. Heather also explained things to me like any other layperson to comfort me, although she knew I was a nurse. I appreciate that because being the one laying the bed is much different than being the nurse caring for a patient. Please send Heather my many thanks for being so wonderful, and I pray that she can continue giving the same care to all her patients. It is my strong opinion that Middlesex Health is an incredibly capable hospital. I have and will continue to encourage people to use Middlesex Health.
