“I had an encounter with Heather over 7 years ago, but have never forgotten her. She was our skilled nurse for our little boy the last night of his life on earth. She was so kind to us that night. Heather never once asked us to move out of her way or step out of the room. She allowed us to sit with him and hold his hand and take turns laying with him in his bed. She was so supportive and spent a lot of time talking with us, but also let us have our privacy when we needed it. Heather made an excrutiating night, bearable. We never felt alone and knew he was in wonderful hands with Heather as his nurse.”
