I went to the Orthopedic Hospital for a preoperative assessment and testing. While there Heather discovered that my heart doctor had scheduled a stress test 6 days after my hip surgery. She felt that I should have the stress test BEFORE my hip surgery not after. Because of her calling and rescheduling my stress test to before surgery, she probably saved my life. The stress test showed some blockage of the arteries, and I had two stents put in. One blockage was 98%, and one was 90%. If it wasn't for her rescheduling my stress test, I probably would have died during the hip replacement. So I thank her and thank God that she took enough time and care to make sure I was okay before my hip surgery.
