Heather showed compassion to a patient facing a very difficult situation, her baby was not expected to live. Heather came in early and worked with the mother to ensure her birth plan was followed. Although the situation was not ideal, Heather went above and beyond in every way possible to ensure the patient's wishes were fulfilled and that she was given the compassionate care she needed.
