I would like to formally recognize my colleague, Heather, for her exceptional clinical judgment and dedication to patient care.
She identified subtle but concerning changes in a patient's condition and, rather than dismissing them, performed a thorough and comprehensive assessment. Based on her findings and advocacy, she ensured that an MRI was promptly ordered.
As a result of her vigilance, the patient was found to have a serious neurological condition requiring emergency brain surgery. Her critical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety directly contributed to a life-saving outcome.
