Heather has been working on the oncology floor since becoming a nurse. She has always put a personalized and loving touch into all her patient interactions. On many occasions Heather can be seen sitting at her patient's bedside, holding their hands and giving comfort when sometimes that is the only thing we can do for the patient.

I specifically remember Heather caring for one of our patients, whom she grew close to and he even nick named her "Heather as light as a feather". Once this gentleman went into remission, his brother was then diagnosed with cancer and Heather was again a source of comfort to both brothers and their mother. Even in such a heart breaking situation, Heather remained professional but did so with a caring touch. Heather is such an amazing nurse to work with and I feel honored to have with her for so many years!
