I've been dealing with a non-cancerous liver tumor since I was 19 and shortly approaching 25. Heather has been absolutely nothing short of amazing. I can't pinpoint a certain story or one time she went above and beyond because every time I see her, she does just that.
Whether my appointments are 6 months apart or a year, she knows me by first name and face, she notices when my appearance is looking better, or when I dye my hair, or when I just seem off. She's always recognized and listened to my aches and pains and provided not only help but a shoulder. It was a scary process 6 years ago and Heather's always been there to ensure me everything will be just fine.
Although my tumor isn't cancerous, and I don't have to be seen at that office, I still do solely because of the warm welcoming feeling she gives. I'm very grateful for my plan of treatment and how well I am doing medically but can't help but be super sad when I no longer will have to see her. She's truly invested in her career and is compassionate in her work.
