October 2016 Honoree
heather harbin, RN
I only met Heather 3 days ago and I fell in love with her instantly. I'm 81 years old and after 3 days it almost feels she's the daughter I lost to breast cancer. If I'd ring for her and she'd say, "I'll be right there", that's what she meant, she came instantly. Nothing was too much for her and she always had a smile and an "anything else sweetie?". I get to go home today but when she came in my room I cried. I will miss her so much and I asked her to call me because I'm praying very hard for about something important to her. She said something I've always believed, that God somehow puts people in our lives like this for a reason. I do believe He meant for us to meet and I feel I've got my daughter back at least for these precious 3 days. I do love her and will never forget her and her kindness.
Thank you, Heather, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
