Heather was recognized by a colleague for consistently going “above and beyond for patients and staff.” The nominator explained that on more than one occasion, Heather has come into the hospital on a day off to provide a “beauty day” for a patient, doing their hair and nails. The colleague also noted that Heather’s positivity and upbeat attitude keep her colleagues engaged, and she often brings in a treat basket to energize and motivate her fellow team members. “Heather’s patience is of an unheard-of level, when most have given up, she takes a deep breath, thinks of a different approach and tries again,” the nominator stated, “just an amazing individual.”
