My partner is still in the ICU of Emory; however, he is currently doing much better thanks to one exceptional nurse. I have prepared myself for the journey. Nurse Heather Hill at Emory's ICU Neurology Center was quick to explain the patient's condition, hour by hour and day by day. She made sure I had appropriate literature to understand the nature of Hemorrhagic Stroke, and she supplied me with an educational confidence in understanding the process of rehabilitation and the diverse medications and treatments which the patient has undergone. She has greeted me warmly each visit and has more than a compassionate professional demeanor, she has proven the ability to care for the patient overall healthcare which includes a genuine ability to understand how I feel.

Even though the patient is not "out of the woods" (so to speak) yet, I feel confident I need to be quick to praise this wonderful Nurse Heather Hill.
