She is the kind of nurse, and the kind of person who reminds you why humanity is still beautiful.
There are truly no words that feel big enough to fully express the impact this nurse has had on our family, but I will try, because she deserves to be recognized for the extraordinary human being she is.
From the very first moment we met Heather, it was clear that she was something incredibly special. She is an absolute rockstar, a true God-sent angel, and without question one of the most genuine souls I have ever encountered. In a time that could have felt overwhelming and frightening, she became a steady source of comfort, reassurance, and light.
She didn’t just do her job—she showed up with her whole heart. She made my husband and me feel welcomed in a way that instantly put us at ease. Every interaction with her was filled with warmth, patience, and sincerity. She never made us feel rushed, unheard, or insignificant. Instead, she reassured us constantly, answered every concern with compassion, and reminded us through her actions that we were not alone.
In moments when we needed it most, she knew exactly how to comfort us—sometimes with words, sometimes simply with her presence. What stands out the most is the way she treated our daughter. She didn’t just care for her; she loved her. She made my daughter feel safe, protected, and valued, as if she were her own child. The gentleness, kindness, and attentiveness she showed meant more to us than she will ever know.
Watching our child feel calm and secure because of her was a gift beyond measure. She went above and beyond every expectation we had—and then some. Her care was not just professional; it was deeply personal. She brought a level of compassion, patience, and tenderness that cannot be taught—it can only come from someone with a truly special heart.
She has a way of making people feel seen, heard, and cared for in the most genuine way. We will never forget the role she played during such an important and vulnerable time in our lives. She didn’t just make a difference—she changed our experience entirely. She is the kind of nurse, and the kind of person who reminds you why humanity is still beautiful. Our family will carry gratitude for her always. She is, without a doubt, one of those rare souls who was meant to do this work. And we are endlessly thankful for the privilege of being cared for by her.
The most special thing she did was bring my daughter a stuffed animal when she was really upset getting an ultrasound done. It was the most genuine thing. And she colored her a picture and left it for her on the wall, to see. She’s seriously the most amazing soul.
