Heather always goes above and beyond for her patients clinically and compassionately.
1st Nomination
Miss Heather Jarrett shows dedication and commitment to her job as a nurse. Her compassion, optimism, and kindness do not go unnoticed. Miss Heather’s professionalism as a nurse embodies the core values of integrity and responsibility while providing top-quality care to me. Heather is just awesome. Heather treated me like I was her only patient; she went above and beyond her duties to ensure I was recovering. Miss Sharon would communicate well with the doctors about my medication and then educate me on its uses and effects. Because of Heather, I was able to get well enough to transition into rehab. I could go on and on about Jarrett’s care for her patients. I feel that I can truly say that because of Heather, we can live happier and healthier. God bless her.
2nd Nomination
Heather always shows great care for her patients and her team. Heather always gives over 200% in everything she does. Heather will go the extra mile, advocating for her patients, providing bed baths, detailed hygiene beyond what is required/expected, and addressing all patient concerns, regardless of what they may be, or the team required to collaborate on care. Heather always goes above and beyond for her patients clinically and compassionately. Heather truly shows the spirit of nursing every day to her team, patients, unit, and organization.
3rd Nomination
I have been a patient at Baptist for over a month. When Heather is assigned to work, I have the most pleasant day. Even if she is not assigned to the room I am in, she goes above and beyond to ensure patient care is her number 1 priority. Heather has treated me with nothing but dignity and respect. She is filled with positive energy, very respectful of patient privacy, and very professional. Her ability to listen and empathy with patients is remarkable. She is the true example of what nursing is all about.
4th Nomination
Heather has gone out of her way to help me. If I needed something, she did not hesitate. I am basically limited to my bed with a fracture in each foot/heel, and she has a beautiful attitude, and even though she has been a day nurse for 2 days, I can see why she is a nurse, not just for a job, but to help people like me. She has put me at ease when my anxiety was at its highest. I hope to have her as my nurse again during my stay here. Thank you, Heather. You have made me feel like I'm at home at the lowest point in my life.
5th Nomination
I've had several ER visits and admission stays recently, and am convinced Baptist Jax is the best hospital ever, and everyone here is also the best, which makes my experiences the best. Even with this backdrop of everyone being the best, Heather stood above all; she is so extraordinarily on top of everything. Thought of everything before I could even think of it. As if she were seeing everything from the patient's perspective.
