Heather is consistently on her game while at work. She demonstrated this when a seemingly easy patient was brought in by police for medical clearance. Heather performed a thorough head-to-toe exam and discovered the patient had self-inflicted injuries that needed emergent attention. Things quickly started to spiral down for this patient as he began to crump. The patient received both blood and fluid resuscitation prior to his emergent transfer to the trauma center. The patient was taken immediately into surgery where it was discovered that he had injuries to multiple organs. Heather's attention to detail and excellent care helped this patient's great outcome.
