Our daughter was admitted from the ED to Oncology. Heather was wonderful, saying kind and reassuring words to us and our daughter. Unfortunately, our daughter was only on the unit about 30 minutes before she passed. The genuine care and thoughtfulness of Heather was exemplary—she knew just what to say, when to give a hug, or just be present in the room with us. We want to commend Heather on her kindness, spirit of gentleness and professionalism. Helping our daughter to a place of peace after her struggle with breast and liver cancer was so appreciated.
