Prior to the pandemic, the relationships that Heather has built with the County through MERC have been an asset to CCMH, we were not dealing with strangers but with friends in the different agencies. They knew that we have a great team and our hospital is committed to being the leading healthcare facility for our Community. Her organizational skills, courage to make a decision when one was needed, and ability to work in a high-stress environment all help to facilitate an effective incident command when an emergency arises. Heather has made the process for mitigating risks with the COVID pandemic a little less painful for CCMH staff and the community we serve.
