My daughter was crying when she found out her A1C and blood sugar numbers. She felt like she would never get better, and she wanted to give up. Heather Mulvaney immediately stopped talking about numbers and addressed how my daughter was feeling. After my daughter was calmer, Heather explained the numbers using anime characters (my daughter's absolute favorite topic) and created a plan that was practical and easy to follow. She even added a picture of my daughter's favorite anime character to the plan before sending it to us! An appointment from which we could have left feeling defeated was completely turned around! It was amazing! We all celebrated when her numbers were actually lower the next month. Heather's compassion, along with her incredible knowledge of her field, set the standard for what we want from medical professionals.
