Heather came to feed him when he needed fed and was so quiet I didn’t even hear her at all.
My 7-week-old baby had pyloric stenosis and ended up needing surgery. I have never been more scared. I have been here for 5 days now and have met many super awesome nurses, but Heather seriously went above and beyond! She stayed after her shift to feed him. She checks on him constantly! I felt totally comfortable sleeping while she was in here! She came to feed him when he needed fed and was so quiet I didn’t even hear her at all. She truly cared so much for my baby, and it showed! My husband who met her once for a few minutes even told me her care was far beyond the usual! To her it’s not just a set of orders and commands to do, it’s like she’s caring for her own baby! I cannot thank her enough for what she did for our baby and for me! She’s seriously so attentive and deserves so much more than I can give her! But I hope this can get her something! For a young mom with a toddler at home and an infant in the hospital, it’s calming to know that your baby is in good hands, and I always felt the peace when she walked in! When I found out Heather was the night nurse, I even texted my husband and told him we were going to have a good night because of how incredible she truly is!
