Heather was pulled to our unit to help us with our patients in the ICU. I received a very critically ill patient. Heather was a God Send and an angel to me. The patient was very ill, multiple pressors, and received multiple blood products. We were able to somewhat stabilize the patient to be taken back to the OR. The amount of teamwork that took place that night was unmeasurable. Heather was out of her element but you would have never known. Every time I said I needed something she was right there. There was no way I could have made it through the shift had it not been for Heather and so many members of my team!
