Heather is committed to seeing that I receive all the care that I need. Ensures to follow up with PCP to ensure that I understand what was said, pushes to next level of treatment when VA systems seem to fail and slow down. Respects me as a person and as a veteran. She shows care and compassion as she does her job and goes above and beyond to get me what I need when it falls between the cracks from PCP. Always letting me know to call her/text, if there are any problems or other things going on, or I may need help. Takes time to listen, build rapport and get to know veteran’s needs.
