I have one word for Heather - Superstar!
My best friend has been in the hospital since February after having major cancer surgery. While there are many wonderful nurses, Heather is the first to take a real, authentic, and proactive role in my friend's care and action plan. She jumped in and was supportive, caring, and also had a no-nonsense pleasant attitude advising what S and all of us needed to do for him to start showing real improvement. I certainly know she has other patients and is busy, but she never shows how busy she really is and always presents herself as truly being engaged with S and his needs. I can't thank her enough for what she is doing for S, his wife Laurie, and me.
