Heather Rastello, RN

Four years ago, my husband had a colostomy related to metastatic colon cancer. We received no training, information, or support after the surgery that occurred in another state. We had the incredible fortune of meeting Heather in the Emergency Department last summer. She has changed our lives. Heather is not only responsive and accessible but also knowledgeable and kind. Heather has more than filled the void in our medical care of an ostomy nurse. She has educated and supported us using her vast experience. She is creative in nursing care and explains options and solutions with ease. To say she is helpful does not describe what Heather gives to her patients. It is more accurate to say she is a lifesaver.
