I was going through my first labor experience. While feeling the sensations and contractions, I started to experience severe PTSD flashbacks and panic attacks. Heather talked to me through the whole experience, trying to build me up emotionally. When I decided to have a c-section, she was there the whole time talking to me and reassuring me. She was an angel to me and made an extremely hard experience better…good enough that I retained good memories of my baby and of an amazing nurse who joked and tried to ease my mental and emotional pain. She is an amazing woman and I feel blessed that she worked while I was dealing with some awful emotions.
