I'd like to give a very special thanks to Heather. She truly makes sure everyone is treated with the utmost respect and care. Heather is willing to do what most don't or are afraid to do. Having Heather help me, helps remind me that I am still human and that there is still hope in this world.
Many Veterans when they come here are lost, suicidal, or stuck in the past. We all come from different backgrounds, beliefs, and different life experiences. Heather has a special gift in making us all feel wanted, cared for, and special despite the ugly things we may have done in the past!
Heather has a caring, warm, and welcoming soul, which is truly a special gift that she unknowingly passes on to others like me. And it's a gift that can be passed and not taken by anyone because it's a gift that is naturally in the heart. I cannot thank Heather enough for what she's done and what she continues to do. I myself have personally learned a lot from her in how she cares for other people in general.
