My Grandmother was hospitalized for a hip fracture. As my Grandmother's only living relative, Heather cared for my Grandmother with understanding, patience, and empathy. She went out of her way to make sure that we both had water and that I was taking time out for myself. It was a traumatic for me as well as my Grandmother when she was transitioned into Hospice, but I found Heather such a comfort. She connected me with the hospital social worker. I was grief struck to see my Grandmother in pain alone and transitioning into an incontinent body. Without Heather's level of kindness, I would not be nearly as happy as my Grandmother and I did not have to suffer alone. She didn't just meet your physical criteria, she was also comforting and emotionally present. She also seemed nice to the other staff that she worked with! You go, Heather!
