Heather Taber, LPN

My mother-in-law was in the hospital for 2 weeks. Heather Taber took exceptional care of her, developed a strong bond with her, and supported our family through the most difficult of days. She entered as a COPD patient who was being treated for several conditions but was expected to be discharged back home. Over the course of just over a week, things took a turn and did not go as expected. 

Heather encouraged us to have difficult conversations and willingly volunteered to help facilitate those conversations when the time was right. She truly made a difference to our family, to my mother-in-law, and to all of us as we transitioned back home under the care of hospice. Even after she was no longer my mother-in-law’s nurse, she came to check on her and on all of us frequently. Heather is the true embodiment of her exceptional care and compassion.
