Heather is a new grad but goes above and beyond to support her team. Recently we have had new employees and travelers come in and Heather took them under her wing and made sure they had what they needed. Heather is an unofficial leader on 2 south and stays moving to put our patients first. Even under stressful situations she is smiling and ensuring that her team is also feeling supported by her.
Heather was recently recognized by a family who stated that Heather was so knowledgeable and very patient with all of their questions when their loved one was in the hospital. They stated that they were very scared and did not want to leave their husband/grandfather alone, but Heather reassured them and kept them informed during such a hard time. Heather is compassionate and caring while working hard to be a team player and keep our patients safe.
