Heather goes above and beyond for our unit. Since being in the ANM role, Heather has taken on various responsibilities and, at times, the duties of more than one leader, from ordering special supplies to meeting scheduling demands, training new charge nurses, etc. As a seasoned nurse, Heather has a wealth of knowledge vital to the Emergency Medicine staff and is always willing to share and lend a helping hand to all employees. Heather comes into work with a positive attitude every day, and her positivity and can-do attitude reflect positively on her staff. As a charge nurse, Heather is one of my greatest resources. If there is a problem, Heather will likely know how to handle it; if not, she will figure out how.

Heather's role in fostering a sense of community is commendable. She is not just a leader but also a great friend to all of her employees. She generously cares about all her staff, ensuring they all feel included in the chaotic Emergency Medicine world. When in a bedside role, Heather is a great nurse with exceptional assessment skills. Heather ensures her patients are well taken care of and advocates for them as if they were her own family members. Heather is a role model to several of our staff members, as she can juggle several roles and responsibilities seamlessly. Aside from being a great leader and nurse, Heather also extends herself within our community as she is a vital member of the youth sports community, influencing young athletes to be the best they can be.

Thank you, Heather, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
