Our brother suffered a stroke. He had several recurrences of bleeding and went back to ICU two times after a critical era in surgery to remove blood clots. Through his stay in the ICU, we experienced various levels of dedication and care levels from many ICU staff, however, Heather stands out consistently. As soon as she walks into my brother's room, she brightens up the room and lightens up everyone's spirit most especially my brother. She is meticulous, caring, compassionate, and effective in her care of my brother. She was proactive in prescribing what my brother needed. She made my brother comfortable to work with her that he joked and asked to "go home with her" and "buy her lunch". My brother expressed to us that he really liked Heather as she's very kind and compassionate. When a patient and a family go through the difficult challenge as ours, someone like Heather is like an angel! We need more nurses like her!!! Thank you very much, Heather!
