Heather has wonderful caring people skills. She has direct eye contact and speaks with a clear voice. She speaks slowly to ensure the patient understands each question or direction and explains what she is doing. You feel she values you as a patient and/or caregiver/spouse. Heather listens and asks clarifying questions so that we have a full understanding of the office visit. She has a professional work ethic and respects all her teammates and fellow staff members. She makes you feel valued as a person. Knowing her patient has physical limits and slow walking abilities and is hearing impaired, she goes slow and takes everything in stride. She makes you feel comfortable and achieves a good pre-exam before seeing the Nurse Practitioner or other medical staff. She explains what the Nurse Practitioner will be doing and has the room ready. Heather has a joyful voice that embodies how much she loves her profession. My husband and I felt totally at ease and confident with our visit and appreciate Heather very much.
