In the early morning, a patient in the ICU passed away. The family wanted a keepsake to help them through the grieving process. Hedyieh took the time to track down ink pads and provided the family with a fingerprint of their loved one. Hedyieh is an amazing nurse and a true professional; the ICU is so lucky to have her. She went above and beyond to help a grieving family hold onto a meaningful and tangible memory of their loved one.
It's rare to find someone so dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others, especially during such a vulnerable time. Her actions show, not only compassion, but also the creative way nurses can provide comfort beyond just medical care.
