I have had the worst month in my entire life! My mom had a stroke and my appendix ruptured! I have seen so many nurses because of all the hospital and doctor appointments and Heide Weiss was the BEST nurse! I am now having complications with my colitis, due to my appendix rupturing, so I called to talk to my GI doctor and Heide was the nurse I got the pleasure to talk to on the phone! We spoke about what was going on for over an hour and she made me feel like she REALLY cared and went above and beyond her job as a nurse! She gave me ideas that NO one else had even told me about! She not only spoke to my GI doctor about my colitis issues, but she also spoke to the UW surgery nurses and explained what I was concerned about! I was starting to think that NO one was even listening to what my issues/problems are! I still have medical issues but she reassured me that this is NOT normal and it will just take time to heal and in time it should all work out!
