Heidi was an AMAZING nurse who was on it! She made sure everything was always taken care of from orders, transporting to imaging, meds, food, and general care. She was super easy to talk to, joke with, just plain had a wonderful servant's heart and treated us like family. If we could have taken her with us to the next room we would have. She allowed J to rest by taking care of these things on time so we didn't have to worry about getting meds at the appropriate time (pain meds, anti-epileptic meds). Our appreciation of care just cannot be expressed enough. We have the unfortunate experience through other family members of seeing how exhausting it can be to keep up advocating for the patient and Heidi did all that for us.
