I feel the need to share the human kindness I have observed from a very special nurse. I have witnessed Heidi Henderson do so many things that represent our core values. The thing that makes it so great is that she does it undercover, she does not want to be recognized for it. I was recently walking out of Walmart as she was coming in. I stopped to talk to her and inquire why she was there during the middle of the work day. She proceeded to tell me about a patient in the ER who had had a fire in his tent and lost everything. She was there to get him a new tent, sleeping bag, and other accessories. It was a completely selfless thing to do for someone who lost the little bit of stuff he had.
