Last night, I was here for the shift change, and again this morning as well. I saw hand-offs that demonstrated strong communication for continuity of care between my previous nurse and Helen.
Helen is thorough, welcomes questions, answers them or finds out, and embodies skilled and compassionate care. My mom has been here for over 2 weeks and my brother and I live far away. Knowing my mom was in good hands gave my brother respite to go home and me a chance to rest at the hotel without worrying if my mom would get the attention she needed. Living far away (South Dakota) from a sick parent is heartwrenching. I'd like to thank Helen for treating my mom the way I would myself. You are a gem.
