I wanted to let you know what a rock star Helen was. I did a complicated peripheral on a patient that day. At the end of recovery, Helen walked the patient to the bathroom and had the foresight to stay with her while she peed. When the patient stood up, she passed out. Helen yelled for help and we came running. M quickly grabbed a wheelchair.
Helen sat back in the chair with the patient literally on her lap. Long story short, the patient recovered nicely without consequences but could have been disastrous without Helen's quick action. Helen also stayed at her bedside and took very good care of her until early evening when a bed was available. I am very grateful.
