On behalf of NMC Healthcare, it is with great pride and honor to give you this DAISY Nurse Leader Award. You have been instrumental in creating an environment in NMC Healthcare where attributes of trust, compassion, mutual respect, continued professional development, and ethical behavior are modeled and supported. You have motivated the senior leadership team as well as all the staff with a shared vision and enthusiasm to achieve better outcomes for themselves and for our patients. You have promoted and enhanced the image of nursing and quality within the organization and as the healthcare landscape becomes more complex and with the raging COVID-19 pandemic, we believe that you have supported NMC Healthcare and created an environment of compassion, competence, and professionalism. Despite working under tremendous pressure, through your leadership, you have provided a haven of safety for staff, both physically and emotionally. In this environment, all staff was inspired to do their very best with role-model caring behaviors.
