Helen Munroe, RN

I am a stem cell transplant patient. During my stay on the 8th floor, all the nurses were great! But Helen really stands out. Her untiring optimism, care, and support in some of my weakest moments (assisting with personal hygiene and taking the time to explain things so that I could clearly understand) will be fondly remembered by myself and my wife. She is one of a rare few nurses who seemed to take the time to get to know her patients as people and not just another body to be looked after. She truly sees the humanity in her patients.

Keep it up, Helen! You are one of the crown jewels of units 8A and 8B.
