Our family found that Helen was a wealth of knowledge. We certainly appreciated her sharing that knowledge. She gave us tips on how to care for our loved one. That was such a big help to us in this stressful chapter in our lives and she just always seemed to sense what our loved one needed. Helen met my father's ambulance and made him feel welcome and safe from the very beginning of his stay. She showed so much compassion to our family by being present and answering our questions, reassuring us about the competencies of the doctors, stepping in to assist us with reaching out to other agencies that could solve our problems. No matter how busy Helen is, she is quick to support our Dad in every aspect of his comfort and safety. She was aware and caring about the comfort of his visiting family and friends. She always seemed to know just what needed to be done and could explain the how and why of procedures. She coordinated and managed all aspect of care involving the mind, body and spirit.
