I have had over forty operations, so I am quite familiar with how post-op care is managed. Lena made me feel like I was the only patient she was caring for, which I wasn't. Every little detail about my comfort was thought of, she even put a ponytail in my hair. Lena stated my job is to take care of you, to make sure you are comfortable and that you receive the best care. I have had a lot of nurses, but Lena just has something special about her. She was meant to be a nurse- compassionate, kind and just a special person. I could go on and on, but writing is a huge challenge right now during my recovery. I just needed to express my thanks for the great care I received from her.
