Helma Fluter is described as quiet and patient by a colleague in her nomination letter and those qualities helped her recently when working with a cancer patient.

Helma spent extra time with the patient and worked through some concerns to solve a problem the patient was having with medication. Thanks to Helma's extra effort the patient was able to be released in a timely manner and in great condition.
