I would like to thank Henry, RN from ER for taking the time with a patient that he transferred from ER to 5N. Upon transfer to bed, Henry noticed that patient was soiled and took the time to clean the patient. I assured Mr. Ortiz that I would take care of it but he insisted to stay and help. As busy as the ER can get, his main priority was to take care of his patient. His acknowledgment and his assistance towards patients are very appreciated and noticeable. I feel that he went past and beyond out of his way. He is one exceptional nurse that loves what he does.
The rarity of excellence that Mr. Ortiz had displayed before me, at the very least cannot go unnoticed. I would like to thank you, Henry, for what I consider as "going above and beyond" in providing exceptional care to a patient past your duties of delivering patient to the floor. I hope to one day reach your level of character and integrity. Keep up the great work!
