Hermine was my nurse overnight. On the morning prior to my cardiac catheterization, I began experiencing severe chest and arm pains. I rang for Hermine to come into my room and I think she came running. Her professionalism showed in the methodical and knowledgeable way she handled what I had going on all the while she was reassuring me to keep me calm. Never once did she falter from what needed to be done and what the proper protocol was. You don't go to the hospital end expect to be told you're having a heart attack! To me, the outstanding care and compassion that was exuded by Hermine was above and beyond the call of duty. She truly shows that she loves what she does and loves her patients whether she has them for a few hours or a few days.
