I transported a chest tube patient from PACU to 18 West. When I got to the room, I put on the call light to let everyone know a patient had just arrived from PACU and to get help moving the patient. Hilal and the nursing assistant responded to the call light very quickly. The patient was not Hilal's patient, but he was very professional and compassionate to both the patient and I. He also made sure to help the patient get a standing weight as well because he knew that would be needed at some point. This was by far the best experience I have ever had transporting a patient from PACU. Hilal was very professional to me and the patient even though that wasn't his patient.
